Why TJOY bulbs come in so many whites
The same lamp looks different under different light. A 2700K bulb turns a living room warm and quiet. Put a 5000K bulb in the same socket and the room looks like noon. Neither is wrong. They are for different rooms and different hours.
So we make most TJOY bulbs in four or five whites: 2200K amber for bare filament bulbs, 2700K soft white, 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white and 5000K daylight. Our G9 capsules go up to 6000K. You choose the white first. The shape and the base follow from the fixture you already own.
One rule saves most returns: keep one white per room. A 2700K lamp next to a 4000K ceiling light makes both look off. That is the whole TJOY approach: decide the white, then count the sockets.

Lumens first, watts second
Brightness is measured in lumens. Watts only say how much power a bulb draws. Our everyday A19 gives 800 lumens from 9 watts. The incandescent bulb it replaces needed 60 watts for the same light. Our brightest A19 gives 1500 lumens from 15 watts.
Every TJOY bulb carries both numbers. Where a bulb sits below its nameplate class, its name gives the lumens. The B11 candelabra bulb is sold as a 60-watt equivalent, yet at 450 lumens it matches a 40-watt bulb.
Running cost follows from the watts. A 9-watt bulb used 3 hours a day costs about $1.08 a year at 11 cents per kWh. A 4-watt G9 capsule costs about $0.48.

Buy TJOY bulbs by the pack
Bulbs burn out in groups, so we sell them in groups. The A19 line runs from a pack of 3 to a pack of 48, and the price per bulb falls as the pack grows. In the largest packs an A19 costs $0.83. TJOY staples such as the frosted A19 and the G9 capsule come in the widest spread of packs.
A big pack only pays off if the bulbs fit. Check three things on the old bulb before you order: the base, the shape, and whether the fixture is on a dimmer. E26 is the standard screw base and E12 is the small candelabra screw. G9 and GU10 are pin bases. Our frosted A19 and standard G9 do not dim. The filament bulbs, the BR30 flood and the 40-watt A19 do.

Beyond the plain bulb
For porch and garage lights there is a bulb with a light sensor inside. It turns on at dusk and off at dawn, with the wall switch left on. It needs a fixture that lets daylight in and keeps rain off.

These lights are for mood. A pair of desk light bars gives 60 lumens, and a color floor lamp gives 130 to 700, so plan a main light as well. The standing lamp with the linen shade is the exception: it comes with an 800-lumen bulb.
